Theme: Crossing

Scripture: Ephesians 2:19, "You are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are citizens with the saints and also members of the household of God."

Our theme this year will be “Crossings,” emerging from the passage found in Ephesians 2. Crossings urges us as disciples of Christ, to cross in faithfulness to God from places of familiarity and convenience to the places less familiar and known. Crossings asks of us to be in relationship with persons who may not share your ethnic identity, outlook on life, or speak your primary language. The theme is connected to our Living Our Vision and Values Strategic Plan: calling member congregations to connect more deeply to those within our diverse membership; that our trust of and comfort with one another might increase; to create greater opportunities to engage together in mission and ministry.

The annual convocation is fast approaching and as we finalize the last details we have put together a form so that you can be a part of the planning. We are asking that you meet with your students and submit one form for your church by Sunday October 22nd. Click here to complete the form.
