235th Annual Meeting

Dear Beloved Members - Congregations, Individuals, Friends and Visitors,
The 235th Annual Meeting of the American Baptist Churches of Metropolitan New York: its predecessor organizations, and the Annual Business Meetings of the Baptist Fresh Air Home Society and the Metropolitan Baptist Camps will be held Saturday, November 7, 2026. Together For Good, is drawn from a compilation of texts: Romans 8:28, Psalm 133.1, and Ephesians 4:3. The three passages do not promise that everything is good or that togetherness happens without intentionality. Rather, they point toward a God who can work through the complexities of life, and a people called to live together in ways that reflect God's faithfulness and goodness. The 2026 theme, Together for Good will inspire the worshipful work of our 235th ABCMNY Annual Meeting.
We are grateful for the hospitality of the good people of Bethesda Baptist Church of New Rochelle, NY, located at 71 Lincoln Avenue, New Rochelle, NY. who will host our 235th Annual Meeting. We are grateful for the leadership of Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Horace Sanders who has graciously made Bethesda Baptist Church available to the ABCMNY family for our Annual Meeting.
OVERVIEW OF THE ANNUAL MEETING
The ABCMNY Annual Meeting will begin at 8:45 am and include the business session, the co-regional ministers’ address, worship, music, a dynamic preacher, testimonies of the ministries in our region, and a conversation about our theme and sermon. We will begin at 8:45 AM and plan to adjourn by 1:00 PM. Lunch will follow the annual session for those able to remain. Coffee and a light breakfast will be available for those who arrive early. Additional details will be provided in follow-up emails.
DELEGATES
Delegates will need to register for the business session in compliance with ABCMNY By-Laws and NY State laws for annual meetings of non-profit organizations. Delegates come to the Annual Meetings as representatives from their church and are entitled to vote in the business meetings. Please refer to the email and mail sent to your church to see how many delegates your church is allotted.

VISITORS, NON-DELEGATES, AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME.
You may register online as a visitor, including exhibitors or partners. If having trouble, send an email to registrations@abcmny.org.
Of course, you have the option of mailing a check or bringing it with you to the meeting. A form for this purpose will be provided. If online registration proves to be too challenging, we will assist you in completing the registration for your church and its delegates. Please contact registrations@abcmny.org for help.
